Tax Preparation Steps

Once you've expressed interest in tax preparation services, I will send you an engagement agreement outlining the scope of services and client/CPA responsibilities.

Upload (preferred): Through Canopy, you can securely share documents and add comments directly to your files.
Digital Link (alternative): I can provide a personalized Google Drive or Dropbox link accessible only to you and me. Let me know if you'd prefer this method.
Other Options
Email (not recommended): You may attach documents and send them to george@holisticbudget.com. If using this method, I strongly recommend protecting your files with a PDF password for security.

Consultations are conducted remotely. You can book a 30-minute consultation via Calendly or through the scheduling link in your client portal. I build in an additional 30-minute buffer after each call in case we need more time.
This is an optional service for discussing questions about your tax preparation. I'm always available by email, but this gives us dedicated time to walk through your specific situation.

Project Management
My project management site is through Canopy Tax. This platform streamlines the tax preparation process, enabling us to track the progress of your tax return, securely upload and share documents, communicate efficiently, and manage open items with ease.
If you have not yet been given access to set up your account, I will provide detailed instructions once you confirm your interest in proceeding with tax preparation services and execute the engagement letter. While I will continue to support document sharing through Google Drive and Dropbox upon request, I highly recommend using Canopy for a more streamlined experience.
